Today, the sun is shining bright and my room smells like pee, so I thought I would try blogging outside, in nature. What I like about nature is: 1) smells better, on average, than my room 2) ample parking 3) good wireless signal (Internet and phone) 4) survival of the fittest/evolution 5) very bright.
But blogging outside turned out to be a bad idea. As soon as I set my computer on the porch, a mischievous crow swooped down and stole the “u” off my keyboard. I tried to convince him to take a less useful key like F6 or “~” instead, but he just cackled his demon crowspeak and flew off into the nearby fir tree. “Hey, you forgot something!” I yelled angrily as I threw the “q” key after him. I managed to hit the crow square on the beak, but he just squawked happily. A little too happily. What was he getting at? Then I slapped myself upside the head as I remembered: There are actually a few words that have a q and no u!
